It is a good read that destroys the green renewables narrative, which destroys millions of jobs and upends lives everywhere.

Let's not even mention two things:
(1) electronics manufacturing, silicon solar panels, and lithium mining (for batteries) are amongst the most toxic processes on earth.
(2) guess where all the electricity required will come from, for all the electronics and e-cars/e-transport/e-trains/e-planes?
Coal...... simply because coal is the cheapest, and coal power plants are the fastest to be built (less than 8 years).

I'm sure everyone is starting to realize, from Texas and many places, that stable power (and weather-durable infrastructure) is far more important and
critical than "renewables" or "carbon neutral" (which is a lie - see below link which also shows that we are re-tracing the previous ice age).

Gates didn't just steal DOS. He stole Apple's UI and re-purposed it as Windows. It is Windows and IBM that created the PC market. Gates basically integrated the two (DOS and Windows) because Apple didn't want to license its UI system.

The problem with Gates taking over Greta is he is uber powerful. He can back it up with his billions in the Gates Foundation as well as his vast network of political honchos and business titans. That makes him a real threat to the world. I can see why TPTB did this - soft approach "Greta" failed, so its time for the "hard line". Look at what his billions has done in Africa's vaccine programmes.

Having said that, Gates did make great progress in creating viable health-care systems in Africa and other third world countries to help stabilize their societies, so we need to give him credit for at least this effort.

Yes, lithium mining is quite harmful, and I have that close by. Good for economy of the State (short term); bad for everything else, including where are you going to throw all these batteries once they're wasted?

EU is reaping the "fruits" of their mad rush towards unstable "green energy", forcing them to rely on the 25% LNG that Russia sends.
Meaning their sovereignty is in the hands of Russia. That's not a good thing to happen.

Bulgaria came to its senses and realized what doing this means.

Also, Bert can correct me - I believe in 2021, Germany took down 23 of their 24 coal fired power plants. Most were demolished, some were simply mothballed and all workers laid off.
That's a lot of capacity that is critical now.

I was at a powerplant visit in 1999 of Electrabel. At that time the only producer of electricity and a bit befoe the markets were freed.
the employees then tolt in the informal meetings that we urgently needed to update the power lines and power plants because everything was old but that theys wouldn't do it unless the government told them as they had 100 % market share at that time and knew some share had to go.

since then there we some nice proposal for CHP coal fired power plant at chemical sites in Belgium which were scapped due to to much CO2.
each 2 years they decide to close the nuclear plant or to keep them open again which creates safety issues in my opinion.

Then the gas powered powerplants were shut down due to unsuffucient working / unprofitable due to the increase in green energy. the gas powerplant can shut down and start up easily so were the first to shut off when there was enough energy. Then the governement had to do something. I think they get subsidies now to stay open as they are the backup for the green energy.
and now the gas flow stops...

I agree with Alain that the technology must exist somewhere to power everything sustainable (zero point energy). Tesla was working on it a 100 years ago...

So, Germany basically is furiously backpedaling on both coal and nuclear, and has turned their railroad system into "coal-first" supply chain system due to its emergency, especially with the river systems dried up and destroying their barge delivery system.
