The Moon is Apogee today which is furthest from the Earth, which has a strong effect on we humans and the planet, similar to a Perigee Moon, causing a focused influence especially when directly above certain countries and near a New Moon.
Today She is over the pacific ocean and heading towards Indonesia and Aust so will have an effect over my side of the world during the New Moon period.
There has been some Earthquake and volcanic activity already as often happens when Apogee or Perigee is near a lunation.
The Moon is currently in Leo about to enter Virgo in preparation for the New Moon event on our 15th, 15th also in Europe, whereas people living in USA or Canada will experience their New Moon on the 14th . It’s the same moment however all over the world according to the different time zones. We do experience it at the same moment in time.

Everyone sees the same phases of the Moon all over the world at the same time even though in that location is it is a different times of day.

The New Moon in two days will be at 21 59 degrees Virgo, so 22 degrees pretty much. Which happens to be right on my MC… Often I don’t realise these things until I write my articles. A new Moon acts as a transit does as if it was a powerful planet, so bear this in mind when they happen on the degrees of planets or points in your own life path when it becomes a true new energy coming in.

Taureans and Aquarians will appreciate this aspect as well.
Virgo itself rules health care, analysis, research and some areas of science, matters relating to animals , usually the not so large variety..
Today we are in the last Moon phase before the New Moon which is Balsamic, generally an unfavorable time for beginning something new, but favorable for closing something, putting it behind us, and for endings in general. A time for personal reflection and tying up loose ends.

I see this as Eris the Goddess of strife and competition whose aim it is for unity and wholeness , beginning to express her real power in political areas involving power struggles and war, as she will go to no ends to bring about unity in the world and often that involves war. She is no nonsense but has the light on her side in the final analysis.. This is powerful stuff when it comes to earth and the collective.
