Thanks for this post. I've shared it and the other one with a couple of friends who home school, and they are very interested to see what more is available.
We found this site a couple of years ago, and the videos she was doing then on Asperger's/autism were immensely helpful, both for the support we felt as parents wising up to what we were seeing in our child, and with ways to help him. It's so easy to just lose it when you don't understand what autism looks like, especially when you have a bubbly, curious child... who doesn't get some basic elements of interpersonal communication and personal responsibility. I don't think one is ever really prepared for the curve balls parenthood throws, but the woman who makes these videos helped us get a grip on our personal situation.
