Not sure whether this is the correct place to post this, but mods can move to correct place.

So here’s something weird I’m experiencing at the moment. There is this incredibly powerful itch that I’ve been feeling in different parts of my body. Trying to describe the itch is almost impossible, but it’s so severe, I could, and have scratched till I start bleeding. The itch is weird, like a normal itch, but also tingly, like pins and needles, like an electrical charge, or something. First felt it on my upper thighs, both legs, then rear upper thighs, then both buttocks. I’ve learnt not to scratch, which takes super human effort, argh! If I scratch, millions of tiny bumps appear, if I don’t scratch the skin stays as normal. Within minutes of the itching stopping, the tiny bumps on my skin also disappear. Each time this occurs, it only lasts about 10 minutes, and then it’s gone. Sometimes happens twice a day, but there are days where this does not occur.

Ok, here’s the weird part, after the initial itching on upper thighs, the itching moved to very specific areas, first my root chakra, that was so difficult when in public, no scratching although it itched like shite, then after some days it moved to my heart chakra, the same incredible tingly itching, the area of itching was about the size of a small dinner plate, then some days later the itching in my crown chakra, like heavy duty itching/tingling. This is ongoing; I never know when the next itch will happen.

Has anyone had any experiences like this, I’d love to know

Based upon the described path of your symptoms (although I'm no expert) it sounds like you could be having some sort of "kundalini" raising experience? I have no idea if itching is one of the common ways people experience this, but I'm sure if you were to do an internet search for the terms you could find out what those are.

Best of luck in your research...please do share what you find (and any further experiences) here!

Hi Gunther,

What you are experiencing is the clearance of a psoric miasm, commonly called the itch. It's like a matrix that overlays the subtle bodies, usually acquired on incarnation or birth.

I had some which I cleared a few years ago now, I'm afraid that you just have to bear it, I managed and eventually it will stop and clear up.

http://www.homeopathyforwomen.org/miasms.htm

http://healthy-ojas.com/systems/psoric-miasm.html

The other main miasms are sycosis and syphilis.

Psora is about deficiency
Sycosis is about excess
Syphilis is about destruction

Many people have got to the point where they are clearing these out now. As you can see from the links they are from homoeopathy, but are quite valid.

As one who years ago studied Classical Homeopathy I really love this post and find your dot-connecting to energetic symptoms really interesting.

I have had itchy lesions, (or miasm) on both my legs (shins and calves) for the past 5 years. This started up approx. 2014 when I was still in my job but was completely knocked about since about 2011 by the sexual abuse issues that happened in my immediate family. Then I lost my job, and the itching just got worse. At the same time, I came on with diabetes, and have very sensitive, affected feet, to the point I can't leave the covers on them at night. My feet also itch, but no lesions. I have seen doctors. I tend to use paw paw ointment, and it lets me go back to sleep. Throughout the past five years, as I worked on my issues, the lesions got better and almost cleared up, but now they are back (coinciding with a major lack of funds - so I can see the correlation there with fear of lack and fear of deficiency.) While I could afford it, I was having a weekly foot and calf massage, which kept it minimal.

I also have it on upper spine, shoulder blades and neck. I keep metal backscratchers around the house for convenience to relieve the itch there. A decent massage addressing the blocked chi in those areas always works to remove the cause temporarily.

So far as I know, none of my birth family members have suffered from psoriasis or any skin disorders. So if it is a genetic family miasm, then it was latent until I got some serious issues turning up in my life).

I gained a lot from reading the links Toller provided. Thanks.

I was luckier in that I only had it bad (eczema) on my right leg. My brother was covered in eczema as a child. Skin creams suppress the miasm and drive it deeper into the emotional and mental bodies.

Deficiency in the physical usually refers to mineral and vitamin deficiency.

Sycosis is exacerbated by drugs (medical and recreational) and vaccinations (is anybody wondering why there are so many mental and obesity problems today). Epigenetics ensures that these are passed on to the next generation.

Syphilis is exacerbated by mercury (thimerasol in vaccinations), the old time cure for syphilis.

So vaccinations give a double whammy to the subtle bodies, is it any wonder that they cause problems in sensitive children / people.

Here's a link to Lisa Renee's blog where she writes an article about miasms :

Thank you for your reply Stargazer, it's nice to see you back. Although I don't necessarily share your views on the shift, I really enjoy your posts, and the positive energy I feel from you. I have no idea whether this is kundalini related, but it definitely feels energetic in nature. The prickly, tingly itch, is like none I've ever felt before. And yes, I will share any further developments of this strange experience :)

Thank you for your feedback Toller, it is much appreciated. Reading through your links, this appears to be a vast subject, and very difficult to try categorize myself into where I would fit into those characteristics. I'm not guna stress about this, and just go with the flow. It's good to hear that it came and went for you, I'm sure it will for me too. The purpose of my post was to see weather anyone else has experienced this, and it appears that others have. I'm quite happy now, thank you.

Thank you for sharing Melt. I have found, that instead of scratching, massaging vigourously, with my finger tips, helps immensely, which again makes me think this is an energy thing. It's energy/vibration, that I am feeling physically, I think :)

Yes, Gunther, I used to massage rather than scratch, it is a form of energy release.
