It’s the Piscean new beginning for the 12 months ahead so if you have been feeling a little jaded, that’s perfectly normal even if the Sun is in our sign working the magic already behind the scenes.
I must admit I was inspired to do more art as soon as the signs switched over. That part of it has never been so noticeable to me before so it’s a nice surprise to have it happen.
This is also a relationship new beginning for Virgos, as I remind them every year as it happens in their solar 7th house. You can all work out where you will feel the multidimensional new boost of Pisces energy if you know what cusp the sign covers in your birth charts. I prefer you use equal house charts for that to get the full picture.
The actual house Pisces rules for me is my home cusp, so new beginnings there too for me although I get a lot in my communication zone too.
We can all use today or the days towards the crescent Moon to make Piscean type plans or decisions, set our goals, which could be something relating to creativity, or anything relating to health or healing, music or entertainment, trips to the ocean, launching a new business project if it involves Piscean things or anything that means a lot to us on a soul level.
The New Moon degree will be at 9 degree 41 which happens to be very near to my birth Venus in my 3rd house. Any lunation can act as a transit so this should be about a person for me, perhaps one of my children as they are also ruled by Venus in my birth chart. It could be sign of luck or a gift.
We get the added bonus of an alignment of many planets in the heavens today as well, which is quite rare (people are seeing them already but tonight is extra special), as it’s a chance to see every planet in our solar system. This parade of seven planets, eight if you include Earth, peaks tonight. Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Mercury and Saturn are potentially visible to the naked eye, but you’ll need binoculars or a telescope to see Uranus and Neptune. Ceres is there too but doubt if she is visible.
If you have a clear, low look at the western horizon you have a chance for the best view. In Aust the the best time to look is just after sunset .
Astrologically there is little effect on individual charts but globally it is rather special and adds another sign of this New Age we are entering slowly but surely.
The planets are not in the same zodiac signs but its still special as we can actually see them so this is a sign of peace coming in my opinion. It’s a beautiful thing to behold so if we all focus on that when we view any of these planets together it will help the collective to manifest that . It’s a sign of unity.
And as it happens during the sign for Pisces perhaps it does give we Fish an extra gift seeing that Saturn is soon to leave our sign after the long transits.
We must remember the karmic North node is also in Pisces right now adding to the magical power of the alignment.
This New Moon is the preliminary to the next eclipse on this sign axis and as it will be a total lunar eclipse at 23 56 Virgo and a major turning point for many Pisceans and Virgos, the events leading up to this will be starting now and some of this will be connected to the major planetary move of Neptune into Aries at the end of March at the time of the last eclipse of the Libra/Aries series that was the most powerful in April last year and set the trend for the year ahead which is playing out now.
This will end an era globally as well, and a new 13 year cycle will begin as does a Fire/Water combination I will write about fairly soon as the effects are coming already.
One effect of this change of signs globally is that many more people will be waking up to their spirituality and becoming more aware in an active type of way, as it empowers people individually to believe in something higher than self and the physical without pressure from churches or cultures although that will still be involved.
The same with their creativity – there is a whole new wave of healthy individual creativity and expressive spirituality on its way and for some its already here.
