There it was - right beside my rocking chair on the deck. I did not know what it was because I've never seen a praying mantis like this before. We have the little green ones around, but not like this.

Just yesterday, I was noticing that lady bugs were landing on me and coming into the house. (I carefully return them outside.)

Then today - this rather spectacular display - in a place I could not miss it.

Lady bugs are symbols of good fortune and abundance.

Praying mantis also are bearers of good luck, and bring with them the attributes of ninja like quickness and agility. Their magic is said to be linked with the ability to seek and receives answers of the unknown.

Soooooo - let's see how this month goes.

Perfectly designed to look like an extension of a twig, if placed on a tree. You get the feeling those bug eyes are seeing everywhere all at once. Amazing to think most of their strength is in their jaw and those over-developed forearms. Look at the back legs in contrast. You are the lucky recipient of an omen, here.

This afternoon, I noticed green on my fingers and tried to rub it off. That was when I realized it was an aura.
