Today Mercury turns retrograde in Sagittarius at 22 degrees 28 sending many people into a totally different space to where they’ve been in the last few days ! I almost write tailspin but that could sound more alarming than it actually is.
Virgos, Geminis and probably Sagittarians as well as many others will feel all this very strongly as we have felt the days leading up to this, which have been equally strange and cathartic.
Regarding the strangeness, lets NOT forget what I wrote about a while back that both Venus and Mercury are OOB til the beginning of Dec when there is a powerful New Moon and when Mars is also slowing down more to go Rx on the 6th Dec.
These are powerful forces when all put together AND the all powerful Sun is in Sagittarius now, which is a force of fire power that is one of the most powerful of the year.
Another reason Dec is always a powerful month anyway is that the Sun will soon be lining up with the Great attractor in a few weeks and then the Galactic centre. To view the Galactic Centre we look through the Sagittarius arm which contains a great number of cosmic players, stars, pulsars etc, justifying the enormous amount of energy available in the signs Scorpio, Sagittarius and Capricorn.
So this month is always powerful and with everything else happening globally it is more so than other years except perhaps 2021 when the last total solar eclipse happened in Dec.
Mercury had been transiting the GA degree as it is in the days near the powerful Taurus Full Moon mid Nov, so that in itself is as if we are being drawn into a vortex of some kind containing a new belief system, that is repeating in the weeks ahead.
Time is standing still, then speeding up again is how things are feeling as the world reels in chaos of impending wars and the most extreme feelings about the future that pull in so many different directions.
The only structure we have is LOVE and SELF so its really important we stay strong and steady in these times without panic or blame.
Blame is a thing that is happening at this time and has something to do with the changing energies that happened during the sign of Scorpio but there was also TRANSITION and some are going through that too. That is another initiation into a higher state of being, so hang in there with that as well!
We need to find a calm centre like never before no matter what is happening around us but its ok to have a primal scream now and again if you can find a place where you won’t terrify others.
And if you are someone who tells me you feel wonderful and joyful and happy with your life, then you are truly blessed!
The Out Of Bounds influence of all this is extreme to the max and people are acting in the most unusual ways – not even knowing why, and there is a need for escape from the pressures of life, a rebellion against the status quo and even against life itself.
Beliefs are changing, lifestyles too and we are looking for, craving, a peaceful place and /or an escape from duties and responsibilities.
That also has a lot to do with Saturn moving on in his now forward motion. He is also calling us to account more and more I have noticed, to own our own authority and use it well, not look to others for our parenting and structure but find it in self.
Meantime Mercury backwards is about to work with Mars until the next Full Moon in Gemini mid Dec. And this means at first we get to do a lot of reassessing and reviewing, slow down as much as we can mentally as our minds have many parts, including imprints which are triggered my emotions, PTSD, as well as everything /everyone we are seeing around us, hearing or sensing through our higher mind as well.
Our minds work hard and Mercury is in charge of a lot of that so when s/he goes backwards that is positive because otherwise we would be on total overload in our hard drives, but s/he gives us a break to process at least during these RX times and THAT is WHY information is held up, paper work slows down, important papers or things/people show up from the past OR we lose things. Its why appointments are cancelled and we have to wait for certain information. The list goes on.
Some of us who like to have control of our lives and get on and DO things, as that’s how we cope with life, don’t like any of the above and it leaves us floundering.
And its true sometimes it IS annoying but Mercury is a neutral planet and does nothing on purpose to upset us, but more blame goes to this planet that’s trying to be helpful than any other !
“Don’t shoot the messenger” comes to mind.
But when Mars is backwards too, he is more powerful so he is going to do some digging up of old stuff that could shock the world and probably will. Mars will do a lot of this underground as he is a leader of a military army but in Leo he has a lot of power individually too.
However soon he goes back to Cancer and this is about we the people, so its all going to affect us too, a LOT.
Mercury goes direct mid month Dec on his own Full Moon so he is going to flood us all with new information then. Whether we like it or not AND it will not be Mercury’s fault
Mars doesn’t care if he is blamed although he will be more sensitive in Cancer from after the first week in January and more concerned with we the people
In the meantime, take a break if you can and while you can, to rethink a few things and slow down, find a quiet space when you can.
It is as some wise person described, an instinctive mental “downtime”.

Tomorrow is an Apogee Moon, a time of extreme feelings so there is that happening too, affecting us today, also a time of extreme weather it seems in various parts of the world .
But the Moon is in Libra, a mostly calm place and tomorrow also the Sun will trine Mars, Sag to Leo providing a creative “fire” energy that should strengthen our hearts and souls too with courage and a healing energy to get us through anything life brings our way.
