Many of the names for the full moons we hear in the US come from American Indian traditions. In this case, the Pink Moon refers to spring flowers, rather than the color of the moon. However, I have to admit, it would be nice to see a pink moon.

Astrology is not my forte, but I think this may be an important full moon based on the events of this morning. I woke up before 6 AM, feeling that I was ready to do something. I was at the coffee shop by 6:30 because I was very ready to start the day. This is unusual because I am a person who likes to ease into the day. This feeling of being ready to do something has not abated.

So, maybe this moon is marking something. Perhaps people who know more about astrology will have more insights.

In the mean time "We're burning daylight" (John Wayne in The Cowboys) or "If you're waiting on me, you're backing up" (The Kendalls, song).

Actually Linda, there are a lot of energies running wild since Uranus reached the 24 degree of Aries. It has triggered a lot of events in the 3d world -the Syria issue for example. Btw, by energies I mean the unexpected, surprising, different, electric type of events -and yes, it can be destructive/transformational too. The peak seems to be this coming Friday when the Sun reaches Uranus in the same degree -I must be careful myself since my natal Mars is in the same degree. Stuff may be manifested since Thursday. There are other aspects, like the Moon as you mention, that for some will bring events more at the feeling and emotional level in addition to the material side.
