Lynn, who I consider a very accurate psychic, just did a reading on the Pokemon Go situation. I re-posted her article on transients just now: https://www.transients.info/2016/07/pokemon-go-psychic-reading-from-focus.html

Here is a copy and paste as it's short. This fits into what I was picking up about the situation.

Q. What is up with this Pokemon Go game that so many people are playing?
Look at the Economist Magazine cover. Is this game another example of how we are following blindly in the world of virtual reality? Is this a secret weapon for PTB / PTW? Are they recording all the housing, geographic location info with no cost to the information gatherer?
A. I see this Iphone / Android game as a couple things. First, it is a huge distraction. I see the targeted audience of this game having a lot of power, influence and also vulnerability (like if they used their efforts for good, they could create so much positive change). This upcoming powerful demographic could pose a threat if they created a shift that opposed the current agendas in play. That is why they are being manipulated and led down a different path.

We are also a society that is becoming more and more awake. The collective conscious is on the rise, and [the word I hear is] "mind numbing" distractions keep vibrations lower. I also see that subliminal controlling messages will be encoded into this game, which leaves the user vulnerable. These messages look to be delivered by a "flash" of an image. I keep seeing a screen of a map, and then a "glitch" effect occurs in which an image shows for just fractions of a second, and then the screen resumes it's map.
The last main thing I see is that this game makers earn revenue (by encouraging business owners to pay for a "hot spot" of Pokemon characters inside their establishment) while extracting data from the user. I see a group of executives sitting in a conference room giving each other "high fives" and saying that this is simply genius. People are disclosing where are, we know what they are doing, and "somewhat" controlling what they are thinking.

I do see the virtual reality visor and Pied Piper having relevance to this. We have a section of society being led astray through virtual means.

I am left with one final thought -Games are fun and can be stress relieving, but be cautious of what you are getting trapped into (and is the trade worth the reward). Sometimes the answer is yes, but sometimes it is no, and be true to that.

And that is all I have for this reading. Thank you. Love and light-

I've had concerns about this game. On the surface it seems fun, but when you stop to think about it, some unseen source is basically controlling you. I have the same response as I do to so many things like this - what could happen if these bright minds and resources went to solving problems. One that has me scratching my head and laughing at the same time is a movie I saw listed on the cable line-up - Pride and Prejudice Zombies. Not kidding.

I read an article today that someone shot at a crowd of Go players from the rooftop of her flat/building, with a BB gun I think, as she was just sick of the commotion outside her place. It is impacting people in many ways.

As Lynn hinted at, "risk & rewards." Pros and cons. I think a great pro that has come out of it is that those who do play are more opened to their community. People going outside and talking to strangers on the sole basis that they share an interest in pokemon. Thus, a revival in the community as they make new friends.

I love it because it fulfills all the linguistics of zombie apocalypse :) Its the closest thing to it you can come without it actually being one.

The whole GO thing reminds me of an episode of Star Trek Next Generation (the one with Picard et al) where almost the entire ship getsovertaken and people controlled by an addicting game they all start playing. I think Data saves their asses in the end.

But then, isn't that what it's ALL about??? One little shiny doo-dad or gadget after another to keep us distracted. I can almost see the Johnny Depp-looking guy now, invisible to the asleep population, skillfully dangling shiny toys under their noses...look here, children! Now look here...and he walks them right

This is strongly what I felt myself. In so many ways.

I agree about this whole issue but this is not just the worst part.

When I was young I watched some Pokemon episodes and then stopped. There was this very uneasy feeling as I noticed many details about this cartoon:

You have this group of children who do not seem to have parents and who do absolutely nothing in life except to chase obsessively animals everywhere to imprison them inside balls and then to use them to fight against each other.

So this cartoon promotes in children animal mistreatment and that it is fun to play those games, because the kids in those cartoons are portrayed as intelligent in a silly way, without going to school or have family interaction of any kind.

Eh. I thought it was okay. Since, it promotes friendship with animals (pokemon) through a sport of battling. Of course, they needed some sort of plot. They show personal freedom as at the age of 10 one can go off and begin their life (pokemon adventure). The world is overall a good place as pretty much Noone dies, humans nor pokemon. It's basically like a human sport except pokemon play and the humans are coaches. That's just my POV. :p As those who mistreat their pokemon are shown as bad guys and eventually learn to love their Pokémon. <3
