With the year of the Wood Snake now close, the Sun moves into Aquarius which is heralding the Aquarian New Moon at the end of the month which will be the true beginning of the Age of Aquarius.
The Chinese Dragon with his fire and new assertive leadership energies will leave, and we can settle into the more stabilising Wood Snake(shedding of the skin) energy to go deeper into needed changes for this planet to regain security and structure.
Aquarians themselves of course will come into their own in the weeks ahead especially at the time of their new beginning New Moon on the 29th (30th in NZ and 29th in Aust and elsewhere).
With the inauguration nigh, it’s a very intense day today with Nessus near the political Venus in Pisces bringing a sense of a major turning point in areas of oppression or abuse of any kind, a misuse of power.
We have the conjunction of an OOB and Rx Mars with Kaali adding to that mix so both the male and female genders are involved as Kaali has a hatred of male domination but the main point coming across is about tough love being called for, transformation and rebirth also a prominent theme, and not everyone being happy with outcome.
But the “buck stops here” is a theme.
I like the supportive sextile of Mercury and Venus aiding this extremely volatile time in our history with a new controversial leader coming back into power, and I want you to know this is supported by planets in the relevant charts, and there have already been breakthroughs in many important areas politically reverberating around the globe.
The USA “birth” chart is in tune with this change of leadership as I have already written about.
The planetary influences coming up for the usa inauguration include Mercury squaring Chiron, Capricorn to Aries encouraging us to tune into our own inner wisdom to find the trust and inner strength, resilience to navigate through any difficult energies that come our way via media or other sources of negativity that are bound to be present on such a major change for the planet, as this is not just about USA. Its about a changing paradigm for the planet that many deem a bad thing despite what has been happening this last 4 years of wars and confusion, and major health crises for all countries… with very little progress being made.
The day after the new leader is sworn in Sun will conjunct Pluto in Aquarius, 1 degree Aquarius, Mercury conjunct Pallas, 21 Capricorn both highly relevant aspects of these times showing a shift of power to a whole new age system. The helpful effect of Pallas is hopeful for peace talks continuing as the warrior Goddess will always prefer talking around a table to find solutions rather than war, encouraging world leaders and all relevant Gov powers to work out new ways to live together in peace .
The most relevant Sabian symbol is “An unexpected thunderstorm”, (we always use the following degree) which does suggest a surprise is coming that could test us all but there is learning in the experience. It also states that the effect will be quite liberating however after the initial shock as storms can clear the air after an extreme buildup of energy and they can often leave us with a sense of awe and wonder at the sometimes extreme power of natural events.
So its sounding like there will be some sort of “sign” for us all after this Global event from the heavens. I surely hope so!
For Pallas and Mercury the symbol is “ A hidden choir singing during a religious service” which is telling us to be receptive to our feminine intuitive powers within, and that there are hidden messages to be heard in the proceedings around us. This is so relevant for the Pallas effect. Its also reminding us we are not alone and there are others feeling as we are.
