A friend sent me a link to this man's website.

He lives in the UK and was originally from Iran. He uses a knife or pin to make his designs, and they can take anywhere from a week to 2 months to complete.

"Anyone can love a rose, but it takes a lot to love a leaf. It's ordinary to love the beautiful but it's beautiful to love the ordinary." -unknown

"My name is Omid Asadi (Deh mirahmadi) 35 from Sale (originally from Iran) Art for me is the way of looking differently to this world and around myself.I started to think why nobody paid attention to these beautiful leaves and trod on them, because of their name - if they were called flowers we wouldn’t tread on them at all! I wanted to give the leaves another Life and make art from them. This was my first step to becoming an artist and my leaf cutting art led to a very successful way.

That's amazing. Leaves break apart so easily. He must have a very steady hand. Beautiful!
