Ellen DeGeneres has the kind of humor I enjoy. She finds such a funny way to comment on life. Last weekend she went to a Cowboys football game and sat in the owner's box. As you can imagine, it was very nice and some interesting people were there. A picture of her laughing with George Bush was posted on Twitter, and people lost their minds - how could she associate with him - heresy!!

Today, Ellen spoke about it on her show, and her response is heartwarming, and in fact, does give some hope for those of us in this incredibly divided country.

This story is growing. Some point out that Ellen often does the bidding of the unseen "they". Others say that Bush is responsible for so much destruction that no one can be friendly with him until he atones. I understand this idea that the event was staged for optics and a message to forget about what happened and move on. I see the irony in a photo causing such a ruckus that it lead Ellen to speak about kindness, which then spurred on another kind of split.

My response is from a larger view point. Like many people, I'm well aware that some in leadership roles around the world have created turmoil, death, and destruction. With this awareness, I take most "news" with a grain of salt - basically, I don't believe most of it. I applaud the people who are working to disclose and clean up the global messes, but it is not my job this time around.

For me, my role is to be the best person I can be and lead by example. This is why I liked Ellen's speech. Regardless of possible hidden machinations, the idea is a solid and true one - Be Kind to Everyone. It is the kind of healing that is needed in all our countries. Too many of us are pitted against each other through hidden agendas.

This is the type of idea that can be brought up in the Saturday Remote Group Healings - bringing healing and kindness to those around us. The sessions are open to everyone. All you need to do is sign in (look on the event board), and bring up anything that you wish. I know what I want to say for this weekend.

I cannot help but always found him funny. It was of course easier to "like" the pre-9/11 / pre-war Bush for his clumsy ways, which means the short era before things in the world really went dark, nasty and downhill from September 2001 on with him.

In late 2000 or early 2001 he was quite an entertainer, often involuntarily as the early "Pretzel incident" showed.

He was what we call in Germany a real Tollpatsch.

He also reminded us Germans of chancellor Helmut Kohl in the 80ies and 90ies, who also had his share of clumsy and funny TV moments, especially with words (which made him the perfect target for comedians and impersonators of the time). Kohl lost power in 1998, so George W. for me was kind of his comedic successor in 2000 on the politics stage for me.

Actually, I believe this guy George W. Bush is still like a grown-up child to this very day. No, nothing can and should excuse what he did or was part of and has the responsibility for. But he was (...is) also a puppet. Not a member or initiate of the Deep State really (despite Skull & Bones etc.). Just a willing puppet that was pre-chosen and groomed (also due to inheritance and family ties of course), just like most of the elite's puppets in the media/politics charade business are or were.

And I gotta say, he could dance.

I agree - his dad and Cheney were running the show. I know a couple of people who know him and say he is a funny guy. I think some of his humanity survived the indoctrination.

I agree that something like seeing Ellen with Bush starts to restore my faith in America, even though I know such things are so often staged.
However, her messages are very clear and consistent: kindness for everyone is consistent with the photos.
So perhaps there is hope for us all yet<3

Even in the darkest corners of the shadows there is hope. Actually the shadows are dlowly transmuting in more light. How long to get clear only time knows
