Re - New record low in Austin, Texas

Well, I must have missed it - still in shorts and t-shirts here. In the past few years we've had drought, floods, extreme heat, but no winter to speak of. Last year our roses still were blooming in October.

I'm all for a few days of winter because when we don't have one what we do have is bugs, bugs, and more bugs. Did I mention the bugs?

Thank you Bernie. Another interesting article on Bitcoin, and Venezuela stopping the use of the US dollar for oil purchasing.

The Bank of England signalled this month that it may raise interest next month. The holiday is over.

This will be interesting because I noticed during Hurricane Harvey, there was a Venezuelan tanker waiting in the Gulf to offload at one of the refineries. We in the US may not be aware of how much oil comes from that country.
