As I was working with somebody recently I watched their chakras change color. At first, most of the rainbow spectrum was missing and only a couple of colors were there. Once the missing chakra became active the colors sort of spread out to include the entire spectrum. It was an intriguing demonstration for me in many ways, including how the loss of activity in a single chakra can completely upset the balance of the whole. Better yet, a friendly 'spirit animal' with a sense of humor came out to say hello, which was surprising and awesome for me to see. I can only imagine how important it will become for the person regaining both the chakra and the animal guardian. It was recently enough that I can still 'feel' the gentle power of the animal spirit.
What can we take away from this? The importance of colors, how vital balance is, spirit animals are living beings we can interact with; these seem clear. Also, because the chakra could not turn on until one very stiff, sore body part was not on this person's 'mental map' and not integrated into the whole, I took away from this that even the most insignificant-seeming, tiny, painful, traumatized, nonfunctional part of us is really, really important. In an image that gave me a rare belly laugh, the spirit animal made a show of 'shaking hands' with the missing body part to show it gratitude. It had been traumatized early in life and had remained a 'sore spot' for so long that it had probably become increasingly difficult to even recognize it; easier to ignore it, not acknowledge its existence. The whimsical 'thank you' that the spirit animal came up with felt to me like a masterful way of reintegrating fully what had been a very broken part. Once the body part was restored, the chakra was able to come back online and the entire system rebalanced.

So, for this week I propose that we consider our weakest, sorest, least functional, most disruptive, most aggravating body parts. First, we could acknowledge each in turn. Yes, that part is there. Yes, it exists. We may not get all the way to gratitude for a particular part being forever painful, but at a minimum we could probably consider that it may feel pressured, beleagured, unsupported, lacking in basic needs or whatever. Its mere existence under adverse conditions may be something for which it is worth giving it a mental 'bow' of thanks.
Watch what happens when you do this. And, please, if you are so inclined, share your experience since it's all a bit of an experiment. Life is an experiment. Joining others remotely is an experiment. Healing each other and healing ourselves is an experiment. Bringing a nasty bit of anatomy back into our whole and thanking it for being there is an experiment. Have fun and let's see what happens. I wonder what kinds of shifts we'll see by thanking our stiffest, most aching parts for being there? If you don't feel/see/hear/taste/smell/sense anything, good for you! You've done it anyway.

This week we welcome the following new Roundtable members: Chrissy, Laura Rose, Slampila, eatinice, deon10, Orasiam and Boni Irwin.

About these Sessions
For those new to these sessions, or if you simply want to be reminded on how to connect in and what methods you can use to send healing, see this article here.
The purpose of these weekly sessions is to send healing to each participant, which can be accomplished by focusing on individuals or the group, depending on what methods you chose to use. You are always free to set secondary intentions around focusing on world events that may need some helping energy — on other levels our group also works in a multi-dimensional sense. Sometimes we get healing requests within the replies here, so do check back here just before the sessions begins.
Let us know if you are joining by responding below or or contacting us through the Contact Forum Admin link here. The session is 20-30 minutes and you can send, and or receive healing; it is up to you. Anyone can heal. No training is required to participate.
Please provide any feedback on here if you receive any and feel comfortable sharing.
The place we have chosen to visualize when first connecting in, and to anchor that connection, is a forest clearing. Think of an opening inside a forest where there is a large crystal in the center that we gather around. The ground could have moss or grass, perhaps even dirt or another surface that appears to you. There may be the sound of a waterfall nearby which could result in a river that you could see, or not. You could start off here and then go off to another place of your choosing to send and/or receive healing. Some people find themselves being taken on a journey where they are shown other things during a session, but we all experience this in our own unique ways.
You can find further information about these sessions through the link, Remote Group Healing, via the INFO link in the menu here on The Roundtable.
