Since this summer I have, a number of times felt a wind that was 'more' than just a wind.
Each was a wind all right, and did all the usual windy things; whirled leaves and twigs around, sprayed water up from the ocean, lake or puddle, brought a fresh breeze, moved the clouds around stirred the air... What was different about each of these winds is that they stirred me. Each felt like they brought a message.
The first wind felt like WIND OF CHANGE with a tumultuous personality. Someone who would shake things up wherever they went, just by being there, but also because they were brimful of energy and fresh ideas. No guarantees about this wind paying attention to your being in the middle of it or taking care to not muss your feelings. It was just there, doing its thing and you could respond as you liked.
The next wind was another wind of change, a gentle and loving one. Like a caress. Soothing fears and letting one know that everything will be all right. It was a warm wind and left things feeling better taken care of after coming around, like each thing was in the right place, where it belonged. You could fall asleep in this wind and have very pleasant dreams. It had a big harmonious presence that you could sink into, like falling into a soft lap.
Next was a boisterous, excited wind. Very happy to make changes, very sociable and in touch with everyone and everything it stirred. It seemed to be saying 'Whoopee! What a ride' all the time. You could not be touched by this wind and not have a smile on your face. It left one with a real feeling of joy at the fun of the upcoming changes. It came and went very quickly, passing by on its way to its next adventure.
Following this was a cleansing wind of change. Big, sloshing amounts of wind energy whirled around like the rinse cycle of a wash machine. But it was gentle cycle if that was what you needed. The point of this wind was to clean up the accumulated mess of what had been left unclean, for however long. You could call it the 'spring cleaning' wind. It was very thorough and left one feeling refreshed.
Today's wind was a penetrating wind of change. It lifted up one's shirt, found the seams in one's pants and left one knowing that it had gone right through all the layers, leaving everything sorted out and cleaned up behind it.
In order to reach me from the direction it appeared to be coming from it would have had to go up a long, narrow flight of stairs, down a long hallway and then into the area I was in, strong enough to reach me around a bit of a corner a distance away from the last (third) door it had passed through in order to get to me.
There were no barriers to this wind. It seemed to be saying 'Bring it all out. I will be in every nook and cranny very soon anyway. No use hiding out/hiding anything in your pockets or secret spaces anymore. It's more pleasant if you come out here to meet me.' It was a very respectful wind for all its penetrative ability. It left me feeling more organized, like I'd not only taken a shower and put on fresh clothes but had sorted out all my thoughts, emotions, etc so was ready to do whatever was needed
