St Ignatius Loyola was one of the founders of the Jesuits (originally the Society of Jesus), in 1534. It was supposed to be modelled on the concept of “contemplatives in action”. So probably, a very idealistic way of being was originally sought. However, patriarchy and centralised power seem to have robbed this sect of its earliest mystical vision. The power of Rome has been bolstered by their secret dealings and behind-the-scenes manipulation. There is said to be a Black Jesuit Pope – shadow Pope.
As usual, the roots and trajectory of this power base goes back much longer than we can imagine. St Ignatius Loyola was born in 1491 in Spain. In 1492, 200,000 Spanish Jews were ousted from their homes and place of birth to become refugees in other lands. I have read a website which states that Ignatius Loyola himself was a crypto-Jew of the occult cabala. Apparently, becoming a crypto-Jew by converting to Catholicism is a way that many in the Spanish community hid their Jewish practices and avoided exile and persecution.
