Ok, we know there has been wholesale spying in the US and other countries. So far, the biggest leaks about it have come from sources that mainstream media and the dozing masses could brush off as phony. This one has shaken me to the core because the whistle blower has gone by the book and has massive hard evidence.

From Zero Hedge this evening -

The same day House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes gave a press conference disclosing that President Trump had been under "incidental surveillance," Attorney and FreedomWatch Chairman, Larry Klayman, sent a letter to the House Committee on Intelligence imploring them to pursue the claims and evidence presented under oath at a Washington DC FBI Field Office by his client - CIA / NSA Whistleblower Dennis Montgomery - who Klayman claims "holds the keys to disproving the false claims... ...that there is no evidence that the president and his men were wiretapped"

When Montgomery attempted to deliver this information through the appropriate channels two years ago, the former CIA and NSA contractor wasn't given the time of day:

Not a surprise. How are the powers that be (and still are I'm afraid) going to control the masses if they don't spy in their own people to weed out potential threats to their hold in power? It has been going on since the dawn of history.

The biggest threat is not from outside the system, but inside. That is why whistle blowers are always ostracized, ridiculed, persecuted, dealt with in the most harsh ways (translation: taken off), in order to avoid alerting the masses about what is really going on and who is really in power -many of the real holders of power are still unknown I'm afraid (the ones we think are the ones just being minor officers in the pyramid in power). Remember the symbolism of the pyramid in the dollar bill.

I prefer to see them as "The Posers That Were"! :) And while they have clearly been in control for quite some time, the fact that the whole of society is having this discussion only shows me that they are no longer IN control...

Yay to that!!!

Unfortunately my dear Stargazer, they always allow a bit of discussion and some dissidents as long as real action isn't taken -they call it anarchism- so they still hold the power. Think about it as releasing vapor out of a kettle to avoid overflowing. The day we see open discussion in the media, names mentioned, reform being taken immediately for example, then we can say they are not in control, until then I'm afraid they are still the powers that be.

The reason this particular news item struck me has to do with the people around me. They are caring and intelligent people, but not quite aware. Also, living in a capital city, some of my friends have working or social relationships with power players. I've known for some time that when something happens that my friends cannot ignore, it will be a difficult time for them.

Many of these people see the info from Snowden and Assange as suspect because they fled this country. I understand why - to stay alive, but to many that action casts a cloud over the info. This guy has gone by the book (I have to admit that I'm surprised he still is alive), which places his info in a less disputable category. So, I am watching and waiting.
