At the top of your rocks and pebbles shot, I see a map of Australia, with some of the larger blue rocks being the ocean around the continent, the pinkish slab being the Great Australian Bight, and a triangular shaped rock (light grey) being Tasmania at the bottom right. I live 4 pebbles up on the left-hand side as viewed in the photo from the pinkish slab, in a place called Perth.

That is so magical, how I would love to be there and sit by the camp fire with a lovely cup of coffee or..... a glass of wine ......Mmmm!! Even better. I’ll bring beer for you Puck:))
Go ahead June, Make my day....I'm working on making that a possibility...
This time of year it's TG for woodstoves. Love 'em. Next winter a snowmobile should be in the works. we get about 3-4 feet of snow over the whole winter, you won't need a fridge to make Popsicles lol :)

The snow is melting in the sun. It did not get cold enough to stick to the streets, so morning traffic was ok. I went out early to document our snowfall and was amused with the deer and fox tracks in the snow. Here is one of our December roses.

Here are two shots of a coastal place where I take my dog; and here she is at home. (You can imagine on the dog beach, how a dog that size has chutzpah to talk back to a large German Shepherd. I'm pretty sure she does it because of little dog syndrome - projecting big to cover her actual smallness. But the big dogs just shrug! It's funny to watch).

Actually, as I was posting it, I was thinking that grass will be brown in another 4 weeks (mid-summer), but tonight we are receiving plenty of rain, so maybe something is changing.
The grass was mostly brown outside my families bach when i was there a few days back here in NZ. I find it unusual to see brown grass in New Zealand!

This one makes me think of all the experiences the child will have based on the varying branching of the trees limbs.
Thinking of the picture that way bring me a whole new dimension to it; an interaction of boy and tree on another level:-D

Laron & Lila , that’s my little boy and one of my favorites of him when we went camping. The branches sort of look like angel wings behind him. I also like the circle in the tree where you can see the sun.
