I had two experiences in the past few days (the last one today) that now have me thinking. Both while walking my dog in the morning. I found knives, one a nice hunting knife on the side of the road and the one today in the creek at the back of my property (utility type knife). One is utilitarian/multi-purpose and the other one could be used even for self-defense. Wondering what is the meaning of these events.
Hope you didn’t find a murder weapon. Call police?

Alain I have given you a "winner" rating, as much for the content as for the fact that I totally understand you which means you are making great strides with your English. I am so impressed!

It is odd - new knives without rust? Of course, I don't like it much that someone was there dropping the knives - likely poachers.

On another level, I see it as the old ideas or ways falling by the side.

No blood at all in that particular knife. (or the second one). There are hunters around though (deer being the targets) so I think it fell from the back of a truck like other things that I find from time to time, like different kinds of tools. Kind of synchronicity to now find knives.

I did find once in the road one full UPS box (unopened) of something addressed to the police department in a near-by town. After my call to the police a couple of troopers showed up at my house to pick it up. It was full of expensive ammunition for the SWAT team. They suspected it came out from the back of a UPS truck.

Or fell off the back of a helicopter?

You are at the cutting edge of your life!!!
I’m also thinking that we’re all on a very sharp edge—our choices will dictate which side of the blade we may fall upon. We can also choose to remain delicately balanced on that “zero point” choice point, if that’s our wish!

Now that I think about it, the differences between the knives are telling, as Carl pointed out. One could be used primarily for survival or defense (fear is key there). The other can be used as a tool for many purposes—even to fix things (a much more positive use). The two knives also symbolize the duality of choice.

A very interesting synchronicity, indeed!

Fab forage Carl, though you did not keep it. I would have. I love foraging......one time I picked up a nut from the pavement and when I got home I discovered it fit the shower door handle perfectly. For months it had been hanging off, we tried to find a fitting nut but couldn't. Then LIFE gave it to me.

Every time one person chooses to act rather than react is a good thing. It is just as important for the person driving deciding not to react with anger at another driver, as it is for human trafficking rings to be ended.
Interesting; in recent times, I've been making a concerted effort to respond, rather than react to situations. It's easier said than done though, it means one needs to be present pretty much all the time, only when present in the moment, can one see and be aware of the trigger happening, and thus have the option to make a conscious choice to respond, rather than react, difficult, but it seems to be getting easier for me nowadays :-D

As our understandings and experiences grow, some speakers and writers become less relevant (no one here). What I saw was some people sounding like clanging metal rather than chiming bells. I've noticed this in my life recently where some people whose webcasts I used to watch no longer appeal to me. I understood that this is an indication of looking within ourselves and becoming more aware of our own gifts and talents. We don't need others to tell us the way to go; we know intuitively where and how to do it for ourselves.
Yes, this is happening to me too!

I have this quote on my wardrobe door. It is very important to me. I am not sure where I found it, maybe Caroline Myss. Anyway, it feels relevant.

"Each time we change to enhance our internal power, we limit the authority the physical world has over us"

Through the years I have found many things, from money (good amounts at times), jewelry (some very valuable), tools, etc., to decorative stuff -I seem to have the knack for attracting "stuff."
Some call that manifestation - Hey, don't suppose you could drop by down here before you leave......

It is so. You can turn into a "magnet" of sorts for some material things, anybody can I believe. Maybe you already have that quality Linda. Start by paying attention to your environment and you will start to notice all kinds of things around you being left, accidentally mostly, by our fellow humans.

Or pass on. I found a lot of stuff at the station, left by passengers. One time I found a full bottle of port. Gave it to a friend for Christmas.

Funny, I never found liquor. Probably the universe never sends me that because I don't drink, or smoke or do drugs, so I never run into those (although, I did run into that professionally and since Security reported to me there were always findings of that nature, including live ammunition a few times in the sites I worked at or managed).

And there's nothing wrong with burning a bit of ammunition! Like many things, it can be used for "good" or "evil". :) I've spent many an afternoon shooting hundreds of rounds for fun--and the only thing I ever "killed" then were a few empty cans or pieces of wood. I've often dreamed of having a place far enough from neighbors that I could get up in the morning, pour myself a cup of coffee, and go out in the back yard to shoot a few dozen rounds at a dynamic (moving) target somewhere. Nothing quite as challenging and fun as a couple of folks trying to hit a swinging can hung from a tree on a string...it's always a good time when your buddy hits the target you've been aiming at and ruins your shot, then you return the favor (of course).

Ah, I love the smell of burning gunpowder in the morning...

:D
