This book is a very high-level abstract book about the energy of the universe, what it is related to, what it does, and how it relates to other energy. When they say "fire" I think they mean "energy". It might be an interesting read.

A lot of the terms seem to come from Ancient India.

Thanks for reminding us of this, and making it available again. I have read other of her works (I recall sitting on my train journeys being completely absorbed), they are pure theosophy, and channelled from other entities who have gone past this level, so the information is absolutely pinpoint to those interested in evolving.

Using the first stanza of this Treatise as an example, I think the Fire, whilst it is energy, is the actual spiritual activation which burns off the dross of material sight and allows spiritual sight (some call the Kundalini the Fire because it travels up the chakras, activating, awakening, and burning as it goes). Effluvium is burnt off, nothing remains, except the pristine awareness of being.

The Secret of the Fire lieth hid in the second letter of the Sacred Word. The mystery of life is
concealed within the heart. When the lower point vibrates, when the sacred triangle glows, when the
point, the middle center, and the apex, connect and circulate the Fire, when the threefold apex likewise

What do you mean by "cycle of fire"? Does that mean more difficulty for people? Because once source says we are ending the Kali Yuga (a very bad time) to begin another golden age. Actually more sources say we are beginning another golden age.

I think it is obvious that the Golden Age cannot begin on a planet in such a troubled state included the troubled minds of people. It is predicted that mankind is supposed to enter a new phase in development. We have the ability to become creators in us, but this has to be developed with a higher consciousness. The planets frequencies are rising constantly and the influence of Rays from the centre of the galaxy is changing and increasing. We as a species are called to create the Golden Age, but it will not happen overnight.
In Chinese Astrology we will enter a new 20-year cycle in 2024 which I think will be a major turning point. We enter the cycle of the Flying Star 9 which is the element Fire and Enlightenment. So there is hope we will see significant changes during this cycle. It is also a female cycle which means we will see more importance shifting toward women, more wise women will be leaders. I was observing the recent cycles and all of them have been very accurate in their interpretation.

The original plan was when ALL of people on earth were of higher vibration then the earth itself would go up in vibration. It is now obvious this will not happen.

The new plan by TPTB is when people are ready to go to a new vibration level they will go to a New Earth, whatever that means. There are many theories about the New Earth, but nothing firm. This is because the earth's lack of ascension is holding up other beings in the local galactic area, so at least one version of the earth must ascend.

The remaining people who do not ascend will stay on the Old Earth to continue their lives and education. Since there will be very few wise people, with a higher vibration, things will be bad, very bad on the Old Earth, as negative energies, like selfishness, run amok, without nearly any positive energies/beings to balance it out somewhat.

So the phrase "the ascension will happen no matter what" will only apply to those ready for it, not the whole population of earth. Each individual must do their own work to ascend. IMO most will not get there.

What I wonder is whether there is a point of balance, a tipping point, where, if some of the ridiculousness that goes on behind closed doors gets exposed all hello breaks loose and nothing is ever the same again; no blinders ever again, no turning one's head and pretending not to see uncomfortable truths ever again, no comforting + silly stories that make no sense ever again; none of that.
It would be a clean slate, a new start and nothing would ever be the same again if that tipping point were reached within ourselves en masse.

And I wonder if such a tipping point is really that far away?

You must be right, therium, or we wouldn't be classed as a "Type 0" planetary civilisation on the Kardashev scale.
