I'm 62, Pod, by the way. I would like to have a say here, join the conversation. I appreciate the post of BlueHorseshoeLoves, and of course, I always appreciate Pod, and look for her posts (or hope there has been one since I last logged on). If I'm understanding Blue's post right, this is her experience and her contribution.
I have a little anecdote which is very current for me (still ongoing). I've been on this journey quite a while, and would consider myself, well, at least awake. And yet, the Universe has been prodding me to wake up! Still! How this has been occurring has been rather odd: my SMOKE ALARM started an electronic whistling sound, continuous, night and day, 24 hours, non-stop, which pierces and penetrates the whole house. This started for the first time last SUMMER SOLSTICE (December 21, 2021). I do change out my 9 volt batteries most years. Anyway, it took me a computer technician (because I thought it was my network router); and then a standard electrician to overcome the problem. First we changed out the smoke alarm batteries. Everything went quiet. Within 6 weeks, it was back. The we changed out the whole unit (which is wired in). This unit was probably 6 years old and I thought it would last longer. But anyhow, I stumped up, because of the excruciating ongoing noise it was producing. And guess what? The noise has started up again on the WINTER SOLSTICE!!!!! Now I know it's the smoke alarm, so I don't need to go testing every other electronic device. But I still have to climb up a ladder and hope that changing the battery will stop the noise. Or it's back to spending more money on an electrician.
As I was driving down the freeway, pondering this insanity, early one morning, it came to me! It is a spiritual alarm clock using the smoke alarm as its way of manifesting. I am to wake up. I am to hurry up and wake up. I am to give more time to being a pillar of light, than seeking and searching on the internet, and doing whatever else it is that takes my awareness away from now. In other words, I am to break old habits.
So in many ways, I can see where Blue is coming from. Just expressed differently.
Thank you, all.
